what's your understanding of CBI

the reading material is great, when I have some starting reading, I am thinking what's the real creativity and business innovation in reality ?
we can say, Jobs' think different is real innovation's best example, he muses, he continously said NO to general designs, MAC, Iphone, Ipod, I tune..lots of them had made revolutions of the consumer electronics industry and our ways/concepts.. another example is Taobao or Tmall, the China most famous online shopping website, it had also caused a revolution of business mode and supply chain.
Personal understanding of CBI is a kind of mind sense , to make sth new, to see from a different angle,
it is a kind of working style and personality, never lost in others' main stream and comments, theories, can steer his own way to his idea harbor, his thinking, his innovation and his own way of life.
it is a kind of inner purity, focusing on his target, not scrambling for popularity, material rewards but his own ideas, ways to live, to do business, to invent, to communicate....
it is a kind of spirit that leading you to work through winds and rains;
it is a kind of braveness, you know may fail , you know it is hard, no one did if before, but you try and perist on it ! bec. you have CBI gene!
Actually CBI is immersed in our each daily life...
what's your feel of CBI ?

In my mind, CBI is put our creativity into business, either designing a fantastic product or creating a new business model.
Creativity in not the job only for management team, it’s for all of us in the company.
We can continuous improve the product, process and etc.

Can I say, CBI is to transform the creativity (potential) into a real power and production. So it consists of several steps: generating the creativity, conducting a plan (maybe collaboration plan), obtaining the resources, and make it reality~

Good question and I'm thinking~~ After class, what should we do? Don't be an average manager, make more practise in our business operation. Take a vision of whole photo and think like an architect. 
Of couse, Rome is not built in one day ~~ Maybe in 10 years when we see each other again, let's see what we do after class. Hahaha.

by refering to a famouns chinese saying, creativity is to grasp others' road and let others nowhere to go:D . This is actually very true if we recall the different case happenning today such as Nintendo, Nokia etc..( no more disrucptive due to competition caught up). Being creative means being as avant-garde, in terms of ways to understand and react to the world.

After class, we live creatively!

To me, learning CBI course helps me develop a skill to think and innovate more systematically. It does not mean you could definitely got a brilliant idea or create another "iphone". However, after you got the think method in CBI course, it increases your chance to have new ideas and avoid blind spots.
