What's Your Idea on IPhone5s?

Just noticed that Apple has launched it's new product, IPhone5s. As a pioneer for innovation, Apple has made many miracles. However many voices came out for no innovation again this time.

I like iPhone5s as technology makes it different. We can see many innovation inside its body.

What's your idea for the new product? 

I am not really like new iphones.
I know it is hard to make miracles again and again, but it is stupid to attract attention by releasing new products with little changes. This will make itself an ordinary one.

Tim cook is trying to do something more practical. in the early days, apple are more likely to become pioneer in the product innovation which JOBs did really care. Tim is more good at channel management and for my view, he emphasize on the market acceptance of any new product.
so rather than making a totoally new product, he is currently trying to improve the using experience of apple product, moreover make it more young and colorful.

Apple launched the iphone 5s, 5c and also the ios7. We can see a trend that the the design style change a lot. I personally thought that they may change the Design Director. HAHA~~MAYBE...Actually that's their new strategy, they want wo make the products more colorful. This will attract a lot young users but may also disappoint some older or serious people.

Personally, i like the new button and icon design. It's very clean. As to the color, i think may be it's over colorful. But it's still ok. I'll keep an eye on the future developement of Apple.

It is not easy to make miracles.Apple did before but can not last always.5S may bring some new technology but can not bring back the shock as it comes at the first time.So do not expect too much.

Although it is different for Apple team to make innovation, they still needs to consider creating differentiators to attract customers:shock:  . Or, we should continue to lose share on the market.

It's a total commerial action took by Apple. Only to put "new model" into market to earn margin and maitain market share. I could not even find anything innovated at all except some useless functions.

Undoubtedly, iPhone is the greatest mobile phone worldwide. From studying Apple's strategy of iPhone, we can see that Apple uses different strategies in different stage in iPhone life circle. At the beginning, iPhone is an epochal product that changes the way of interaction between human and mobile phone. In the stage of introduction and growth, a differentiation strategy was applied. Then in the stage of saturation, which now iPhone is, Apple is going to extend the product life-circle by updating the hardware and software of the product. And it could be predicted, in the future, Apple will use overall cost leadership strategy to maintain its competitiveness.

IP5S actually has some upgrade on the hardware and software such as its CPU and IOS7. But those new features do not cater to the need of Chinese customer. Most of service is not available or active in China. Mass people are looking for a style-change design to inspire the market.
